Tuscaneers,

Hot on the heels of the leaking boot issue (Job #83 on the list, and thanks to those with their tips). I have passeneger door issues.

Window drops, but door doesn't release. However if you keep the button down, it eventually releases, but the window drops further again, so when you close the door the window only lifts partially and not all the way closed. Hence you need to back into the car and spin the window switch to raise the window fully shut... A pain in the cherry bag, I'm sure you will all agree!

Same issue when using the interior release button as well....

All help and advise warmly welcomed as always...

Cheers lads and lassies and safe drivin'

Marto.

PS... P400 TUS... let me know how you get on with the silicone round the lights for your boot 'bath' issues!!

Its the door encoder thats gone faulty. Its a common fault, I started fixing them for people, I think I still even have a spare. Drop me an email and I might be able to help you out.

if its not the encoder it could well be the door or mirror ecu? I had this replaced on mine not long ago cost about £100 for the part so pretty expensive.

Sorry cant be more help, Power did it for me when my passenger door stopped 'popping' open
