Hi all

Can anyone recommend a gearbox oil for the PG1 box specifically with a Torsen B diff.

The reason I ask is in the past I have used Redline MT90 which is rcommended for the PG1 but they say it's not suitable for hypoid gears. ie the spiral type gears in the diff. It seems it's to do with the hydrodynamic contact pressure being much higher.

Should I just use standard MTF94 or is there something more suitable?

Thanks

Motul Gear Comp 75w140 is what we run in a car with the same set up, have done for best part of 12 months track days. Drop me a note to info@track-club.com or come up to the Eliseparts.com Open day on 21st March.
