Feeling guilty about this. Day off, doing paper work and filing at home; go to fridge the options are, old milk, flat diet coke, dubious looking orange juice, or pristine cold larger. I chose the larger and it tastes good. However i still feel like a tramp, should i?

Ameture tongue out

Used to come down on the way to school and dad and his mate were already on their second can. One of our local pubs also has a 'Breakfast Club' - 10am and the place is half full!

It really comes down to whether or not you plan on getting another after that.

The problem with that is it can bite you in the arse if you need to drive anywhere. I had a little party in mine a while ago & a few mates stayed over, I dropped them off & came home & decided to have a few cans in the house & then realised I was screwed with regards to leaving the house

Pubs are open but its not really socially acceptable to go in for a pint before 12.

I refer you to my earlier post (then again we are only a small town and have 9 pubs in the town itself so we could just be a strange town)

The rule in our house was always 10:27am as the earliest you can think about having a beer. Thats because officially the rule is none to be cracked before 10:30 but Dad always factored in 3 minutes for going to the fridge and cracking it open. This was most closley observed on special occasions like Christmas, Bathurst day, and Easter holidays. Well, any bank holiday really. (Especially difficult to observe when camping cause youve usually been up for 5 hours by then and its stinking hot.) The rule lives on now in my house.

Beer is taken quite seriously in our family. hehe

Last week was sat in the pub at 10.15 having a beer and a fry up, the went on pub crawl. We do this about 3 times a year, usually the best days of the year.

Valid point. After a nightshift in Kalgoorlie, we used to head into town for "dinner" at about half 7am where we would proceed to get st-faced in the pub, being served by barmaids wearing only some tacky lingerie who give us an ice-block show on their nipples for two bucks a time. Stumble back for about 11am in the searing heat, pass out and then up at 4:30pm to do it all again.

Thats why 40yr old drillers look 65.

ETA: Google "skimpies Kalgoorlie" NSFW
