Income difference with new partner....

As usual, it appears somehow I have managed to snag someone properly way out of my league, who appears pretty keen...
Anyway, few dates down the line it appears there is a massive disparity in incomes between us. I always thought I earned a a fair amount, but hers is Kensington flat/six figure income (self-earned, due to her being scarily intelligent and ambitious), and mine, well, isn't (income or intelligence).
This isn't my usual experience of going out with someone, and the concept is novel, especially as I seem to pay for everything when we do eventually head out, but I digress.
Anyone else had a similar situation?

I did - dated a hedge fund person for a while. As long as you're not intimidated by high achieving women (and I am not), just treat it like any other relationship, but the other way around, She should have the sensitivity to not demand an extraordinarily high-spending lifestyle for the both of you, unless she wants to pay for it.
We were actually fine - despite being worth buckets, she was not someone who had to live in Michelin starred restaurants all the time. Nice girl actually. Broke up because I had commitment issues (for a change).

Erm, no, not through an agency or a hooker, even the high-class don't earn near what she does (and I couldn't afford that more than once a month). Although the amount of attention she gets I think she could easily do that, apart from the morals bit, which is proving tricky to negotiate.
I see what you're getting at with the ego thing, but tbh I only know the odd property developer that earns more than she does, and they are 40/50 and she is in her twenties...
Still thanks for the input so far, but I think I'll ride it out for a bit longer.
