Nice rig shots. Did you have lighting on the stationary shots on the runway? or was it the post processing effect?

Do you mind me asking where the airfield was? I'm looking for somewhere similar for a shoot with about 4 of 5 cars.

Looks like a disused airfield given the wear on the paint. Greenham Common perhaps?

I didn't use any lighting just a large reflector as it was a sunny day, and the rest was post production.

Location is Blackbushe.

How easy was it to get access to the airfield, ie how easy was it to get permission?

You just drive in, it's common land so no issues with access, you get people up there walking dogs all the time etc.

Nice photos.

I'm looking at doing something similar with my car (I'm in Fleet, just down the road from Blackbushe).

How do you actually get to that airstrip ? Do you just drive in the entrance where the Car Auction / Sunday Market is ? Or do you access via another route ?

Cheers,
Nick

I got booted out of there with two GTR R35's!

Probably okay if you're by yourself.

I like these, the position of the car is a bit too similar in all the statics though.

That is brochure material I think.
I wouldn't say the car suits the surrounding so whilst they are very good photos, they don't sit well with me.

If it was a different car, like, something a bit more 'gritty' and purposeful that would suit the background better.

The Audi is very much a city suited car, slick skyscrapers etc etc!

Great photos though, wish mine looked that clean smile
