I want to buy a falconry experience for my youngest sons birthday (10th) - I've googled and there seem to be quite a few around. Anyone been to one or have any recommendations - South or midlands .

Cheers

There's a place at Old Warden, along with planes and various other things to see.

May be too far South for you, but we had a good day with these people when they were based at Leeds Castle a couple of years ago:

I've trained there both practically and in lectures and it was superb.

Their display is probably the most spectacular falconry display I've ever seen too. It's a superbly timed mixed species display all set to classical music and at times the sky is just filled with birds.
