This is a very long shot, but I figure it's worth a punt.

Many years ago, perhaps in 2004/2005, I saw this documentary on UK TV that was filmed in an impoverished African nation. One segment of the show had the British presenters trying to track down the long lost family of a young boy they came across on the streets.

They were eventually successful, and when they walked the boy to his family's home, the father answered the front door, and the moment he saw the boy he broke down and dropped to his knees to embrace the child.

It is the most moving thing I have ever seen on TV, and that particular image is seared in my mind.

However, I did not take note of the title of the show, when it was aired, which channel it was on and I cannot remember any other details than the ones above.

On the off chance one of you saw the scene in question, and can fill in the blanks to help me track it down, I would be most grateful.

Thanks!

I remember that scene very well, it was actually on Comic Relief. Not sure what year though.
