Flashing lights

Hi all,

I have an R53 cooper s and tonight the drivers side headlight started to flick off and then on a bit randomly. Would this be the bulb about to go and is this expensive?

I haven't had the car long and not too sure on parts costs. Any help wold be appreciated.

Assuming they're xenons, it could be something as simple as an earth strap has become disconnected (should be fairly obvious when looking under the bonnet) or one of the other wires. It could also be a ballast problem. I'd suggest looking at the Faults & Fixes section on MINI2.com.
