Does anyone know of one?

My thinking behind this is that it is a Microsoft system and therefore cannot be too different to windows.

As far as I know there are not even any fully operating PS2 or xbox emulators as yet so I think a 360 emulator is not at all likely.

My understanding is that the host machine needs to be expotentially more powerful than the machine it is simulating although as you say the xbox is basically a PC(hardware at least) so may not be as true as trying a non windows machine.

I'd be interest as to why you want this. Most games are available as PC ports.

Being similar to Windows is pretty irrelevent since it's the hardware that has to be emulated.

In short, don't expect to see one for at least 10 years or so.

I heard that the host machine needs to be about 10 times more powerful than the target machine so I guess you'd be better off playing the game on a PC. Different story for a SNES etc as you can't get the same game on PC.

As for the guys who said whats the point.

Well MS game studios have stated that they are no longer supporting windows! Thats right the guys behind the Direct X software plan not to use it!

Alan Wake was made purly to show off how Vista and Direct X 10 was supose to look maxed out but they then decided to cut it down to the 360 version and axe it for the PC as they realised that people were not buying 360's if they have PC's.

This is also why we have not seen ports for:

Fable 2
GoW 2
Halo 3
Halo ODST
Forza 2 or 3

Even though previous ones were avaliable on PC.
