Hi Guys,

Looking around for the a manual LP550-2, right hand drive, low miles. Have seen the press car in London but not so keen. Am re-trying the egear soon but still think my preference is still manual. If anyone knows of one for sale I'd be grateful.

Also, would be interested to find out how people get along with the egear? Ultimately I want the driving experience and I am worried the egear reduces that. Mind you, the downchange on them is awesome!!

Cheers

Dave

Nope not me! It was the press car and every clip on the internet it was being thrashed. We got very close on a price and in the end I decided against it.

2 weeks in to my e-gear ownership now, and I can tell you I will never go back to manual - love it! (I was also looking for a manual to start with) smile

I've been browsing Balboni prices a little and whilst there did seem to be quite a few available with dealers, I don't understand why they appear to be asking so much money (I was under the impression that the basic list price was just under £138K) yet most are asking in the mid £160k range - have they really all got around £30k worth of extras?

Yeah add the VAT. They come pretty loaded as standard but electric seats are like 2500 and all the other bits are not cheap, none of which are that good or essential IMHO. Manual would be nice, as the car was intended to be.

Ah ok - silly me - so then the Balboni is actually a more expensive car than the 560 or is that 147 + vat too?! I'm feeling a little confused! it appears that Evo have the price wrong then!

How much hassle would it be to actually do that to a regular Gallardo?! Surely you could keep the bits and have them refitted before selling it on!

Any views on how you all find egear? I want this as a fast road car and for track use.

more than one person told us we did the right thing not going at the weekend though, and even on monday it was busy from lunch time to early afternoon

See my earlier post... I was a "Manual only" customer until I somehow bought an E-gear based on other peoples advice... glad I did, will always buy e-gear now!
