Hello fellow PHers!

I've been told by a recruiter that I have to go through a CP Cycle (I did ask him to spell it for me!) online test. I've asked for more details, and am expecting a call from them. I can't find anything on google, and my recruitment consultant hasn't heard of them which is strange as I would have thought any reputable company would be well known.

It's the last stage of an interview (I have been in there twice), and is apparently used to assess suitability for the company culture.

I have not done any form of online test since university. Does anyone here have an idea of what to expect, and tips on preparation?

Many thanks in advance.

Sounds like a psychometric test to me.

If it's a psychometric test, best way is to think what are the best tributes required for the job. If you answer truefully - you might not get it biggrin

smile you got me! I guess they may come up with some split personality disorder, perhaps!

I created the other ID for when I had a question regarding some legal issues... fortunately resolved and obviously the cookies are playing with me!

I've now been told it is indeed a psychometric test, called the "Hogan Development Survey" online, followed by something called the "Wave questionnaire from Saville Consulting"... all good fun I'm sure.

These tests IMHO are worthless.

I've done loads over the years and always got the job.

As I said, worthless wink
Well, I did them today and I conclude they you're correct. Eg: pick one of the following that is MOST you and one that is LEAST you:

- working with a team to get things done
- getting results

I mean, well, er both could be exactly the same...

Cheers PH!
