Late Chimaera: rear lightbulb replacement?

Help - any of you guys,- How do I change a lightbulb on the rear separate lightset of a Chimaera. Seriously embarrassing and definitely a pull!!

hi howard, just had a look in 'the bible' and it just says that the access to replace bulbs is from behind the light cluster via the boot and that a panel is noramal pulled back to gain access. Stating the obvious a bit I feel! I'm sure somebody will reply with some useful comments, but until then....er that's all I know. (only got mine last week and still having problems filling it up with fuel!)

Yep. Very simple - just pull the carpet away to expose the bulbholder moulding which clips out.

The fittings on my 99 Chimaera are behind the carpet covers in the boot and then unscrew "like a jamjar lid".

Mine is a 99 too. Pull the carpet back and unscrew, then replace as necessary.

Many thanks guys - for all your help plural - actually, I had got as far as looking under the covers in the boot - but my wife slapped me for it!!
Yep- it should unscrew then (jam-jar lid that is!) -now all I've got to do is free the whole area of carpet adhesive - ...hmmm ..nice!
