Accessing data on an old HD
Discussion
Hi all,
Recently bought a sata/ide to usb enclosure and plugged in an old HD - got access no problem and copied over the data that i wanted.
Have now tried another hard drive - this time much older...
Can access some folders but when clicking on the documents and settings and then going to the specific folders for my family members (im running vista btw) it says you currently do not have access to these files, click continue - i do this and then it just seems to load for ages and nothing happens - cannot access the files???
I'm assuming this is something to do with the security settings on the old HD - it is from a very very old Time PC that has been in the loft for some years....
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Woza.
