bought some black grills/grilles a while ago, they looked good on my topaz m3, but not too sure on this silver grey one, thought about colour coding them any thoughts or pics?

Cosmetically changing an M car is wrong to me.

It also cheapens the image IMO.

Personally don't agree with this dependant on what's changed but each to their own on that score.

Good link here with some examples of colour coded front grills. I'm thinking of going black (or carbon) with mine.

I can understand what you're saying, but it's not like he's fitting a massive spoiler or bodykit.

Colour coding the grills is very subtle. I've smoked my front indicator lenses as I think that looks better, but I wouldn't say it cheapens the image.

I still can't decided if I personally think colour coded grills look better than standard or not. Its a close call.

This was the only modification I did when I had my M5, the grills were from BMW, I was very pleased how the car looked.

Colour coding could look good too, and different.
