The remake...wow this is bad. I had putof seing it for years as a Sellers fan and as a witness to the awful 'reboots' that Martin is responsible for (six franchises so far....ok, Father of the Bride was not bad).

I plussed this and...it is worse than a [-]David Brent[-]Gervais film, that's how bad it is. Not as bad as his Bilko, but then he does have Kline and Leon to fall back on.
Stil though...wow, how could they release this...I suppose it made money becue of the sequel?

Fun fact, Martin was the fouth man to play Clouseau on screenbiggrin

Jesus in a flaming prius!!! they made a sequel? I too watched it over the weekend and it is shocking, one of the worse films I have seen and a insult to the originals, and they made a further one?

I'll never watch these, the originals are some of the best comedy films ever made with a comedy genius playing the lead.

Steve Martin hasn't been funny since 1988 and then he had Michael Caine to help make him look good.

It's funny, you can almost chart it...with Bowfinger as an unusual blip.

It was sad when Dennis Pennis asked him why he wasnt funny anymore though...
