i have a 1.6 pinto with a cam in at the moment and i was wondering if the cam will fit in a 2.0?

Yes. The cam towers are identical on both heads.

As above but works both ways the 1.6 GT Pinto was fitted with the 2.0 cam by Ford easy perk up
