An actor, a gardener, a bird who was married to one half of Oasis and some blonde sort who writes a column in one of Murdoch's papers.

Celebs indeed hehe

I suspect you're not far from the truth whoever her mother is biggrin

The story so far -

Irish Gardener gets depressed after 2 hours, stumbles into 1 day's painting (not a set-up...hah!), fails to declare £50

Tidy posh blonde conveniently has mobile to call & get a job in a pub. Bursts into tears for no apparent reason.

Ex Oasis wife correctly identifies a rug.

Eastenders Actor goes shopping in Asda, buys salt, gets recognised on the street thus ruining the whole scam.

More quality TV from the Beeb.

He didn't have to try very hard. smile

It was a pointless programme though - they were looking for casual work, not proper jobs.

Wonder if their employers will get "visited" for not paying NI?

I couldn't believe what a stupid show it was.

Tidy?

She was as rough as a badger's arse.

Agree on the quality though, utter garbage.

Did anyone see the later programme at 10.30PM, Jobless?

Blimey, that was pretty heartbreaking at times. The Visteon (ex-Ford) workers got an amazing deal in the end though.

I can see the guy who was the printer salesman being divorced soon.

I started watching this and turned it off. Does anyone have any inside knowledge about how these shows are produced as surely they don't walk up to someone and stick a camera in their face and ask for a job. I switched it off when the two "experts" tunrd up on the building site to see the gardener painting. It all just smelled like a set up and very badly produced the beeb would have been better spending money getting some real unemployed peeps into long term jobs.

You don't need inside knowledge to know it is set up, just like secret millionaire etc. researchers contact you and expect you to put yourself out for their cameras at no cost to theiselves.

How do you mean, you think his mrs was quite tidy looking, couldn't quite decide myself, seemed to have a few quid tucked up in the house and cars etc, should bounce back ok.

I meant her divorcing him - her little (slightly weird) business venture seemed to going well, and he was reduced to mini-cab driving.

You could just see them drifting apart.

Yes I thought the whole show was very well worked out, I mean who wouldn't recognise Larry Lamb of Eastenders and "Gavin & Stacey" fame.

They showed a few pics from her modelling days, admittedly they were probably pre-booze & coke binge pics, but she didn't look too bad at all.
