please remove the 'all good' from the end of your sentence. Your M6 defines you as a person of some taste and standing with an appreciation of the finer things in life. Your 'all good' denotes you as a baseball cap wearing IQ in single figures chav.
Such a shame to leave it there.
Or am I being unduly sensitive this morning?
You are being a little abrasive, given that the OP has posted some pictures of a great looking car, and is introducing himself into the PH population ..... I've never taken advice from anyone called "Julian", anyway Such a shame to leave it there.
Or am I being unduly sensitive this morning?

It is also not great English to begin a sentence with a conjunction, by the way.
Welcome, OP!!!

Not sure why you'd never take advice from someone called Julian though, and starting a sentence with Or was good enough for dickens, so its good enough for me.

Crikey! What have I instigated?!! I have booked the six in for a full vehicle wrap in gloss white, so she'll look like a washing machine in a few weeks time. Not sure what the matt black grills will look like then.....
Will post pics when it's been completed. Now Julian - thanks for removing post, especially as I hate bloody chavs and all associated with them!

Mat,
As a motorcycle racer, I am obviously well into the moto gp and have seen this pace car in the flesh when I did a support race at Donny last year with the moto gp circus. I did think of copying the design, complete with light bar etc...! I could still go for it, as my car is booked in on april 8th and 9th for the wrap. I will have to re-think now....!! why did you go and post that pic? hehe! As for my headlights - all I have done is put the led angel eye upgrade in and fitted 8000k hid bulbs, replacing the original 4100k bulbs.
Thanks for the 'pace car' pic - although you've given me a dilemma now - albeit a good one...!

Lovely car mate; looking at a black one myself at the moment - how do you find the running costs? MPG doesn't bother me too much as I do small miles but wondering about the servicing/reliability etc?
Cheers!
I only bought mine in January this year, so not really able to ofer any long ownership advice! Fuel is about 24-25 mpg at 80mph on the motorway and Im averaging 19 mpg in everyday motoring. Can dip quite low if you boot it tho....Cheers!
I had a faulty ionic sensor (think that whats they said!) which caused a mis fire on cylinder number 10, but this was remedied under warranty and I was happy enough. I have had 4 new tyres fitted. Falken 452's at 540 quid for four - ultra cheap and they are going well. When i purchased it, it had new discs/pads all round, 10 plugs, new oil, new brake fluid etc.. so it hasn't cost me a penny yet! I love it and the engines are supposed to fairly bullet proof. Buy one - you'll not regret it!

Tis a lovely car, but I would invest in some sort of diagnostic system.
I find that walking into a dealers and telling them what needs doing costs a lot less than wandering in and asking them what the problem is with cars like this.
Julian - good advice - I went to Birds auto in Iver, independent diagnostic specialists and they thought it was a coil or dodgy plug. Bmw were told by me when I took it in to them that it was a problem with cylinder nuber 10. Sure enough, it was indeed a number 10 cylinder problem. Their technician could not pin point the problem as it was so intermittent..... after a week they found the problem, but put me in a decent courtesy car, fully valeted mine, so to be fair, they did all they could. She's been like a peach ever since, but to your original point, I always try and find the fault and then present to the dealers armed with the problem......I find that walking into a dealers and telling them what needs doing costs a lot less than wandering in and asking them what the problem is with cars like this.
Wrapping it to be a bit different (seems everyone has a black M6 - hehe!!) - either matt white or murcialago orange, perhaps the lambo green! undecided as of yet, but its booked in. Regarding mileage, I have to admit to mostly motorway driving to get such good mpg and a very light right foot. Im not particularly bothered about fuel consumption, just seem to be able to nurse a pretty good tank of V power out the ole'girl!
