There's an article today in the Metro about some plank on a Milwall web forum who'd posted up about how his seat was reserved and he was irate that he couldnt use it (obviously reserved for him). I've never seen a web forum posting generate its own news story before, is this really newsworthy?

It does, it must be the only seat at Millwall that hasn't been ripped off and thrown onto the pitch.

And at Hull - http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/news/Seat...

But also at home when Leeds fans turn up.

Personally I think it's just an artistic comment on the frivolity of hard plastic seating in a post-renaissance world. Might be wrong though.

We've had a few threads on this chap on here as well. It's a hilarious thread on the Millwall forum, poor bloke didn't realise his season ticket was his ticket, and it appears every week he's been turning up buying a ticket, never been able to sit in 'his' season ticket seat, and his confused as to why.

The local Hertford area newspapers (Herald, Mercury) get most of their news from the Hertford and Ware forums. Saves doing any actual work. They even quote forum members.

I made the paper one week after I fell asleep on a train and was left in a siding because the driver didn't check his train properly.
