No *life* bans as such ... surely only the ICC can do that. This seems like purely an internal affair. Always lots of unrest in the pakistan team though - too many captains on the field and off - in all forms of cricket.
Younis Khan did well to galvanise the team in England last year to win the T20 World Cup but it's always only a matter of time before the wheels come falling off ... Afridi is a great cricketer but does insane things - and there is seldom dsicipline within the team from what I see and read.
They're passionate and talented sportsmen who let ill discipline, petty rivalries and lack of control get in the way of team progress I think.
Shame - cos as we know on their day they can beat anyone.
