Some of the Thames Valley lot exspressed an interest.

I'm about 5 miles away, was going to pop along with family, wasn't going to take the G as I won't leave it outside the Racecourse.

I was under the impression that there was parking on-site, so hopefully no security issue... http://www.britishleisureshow.com/visitors/parking

If anyone comes along on the Sunday please come along to the car club section and find the Alfa Owners Club Stand. I'll be there with my SZ, plus we have a Montreal, an Alfasud and 2 Bertone coupes, one 1750 and one 2000.

Cheers

Philip

As long as you can park inside the course you should be OK. But Royal Windsor racecourse is actually near Dedworth in Slough, not known for high caliber of inhabitants.

Dedworth is in Windsor.

Slough is the other side of the Thames from the racecourse.

I think the point is that they walk to the place where they steal the car, or your belongings from inside it.

No need to give it a miss, just think about what car to take if parking is a problem. It shouldn't be, but if it is well attended it could be a long walk from the car park to the stands. Maybe someone who goes on Friday could let us know the parking arrangements.
