My sister.

But then, she is a vet student. They all found it laughable, apparently.

Every night I have put this on (for approx 3 seconds) and there has not been any 'lambing'.

I was actually going to put a post up about this! WTF? i wouldn't normally mind if this was on daytime telly (i'm thinking Jack Hargreaves biggrin), but this is shown at peak time on BBC2!

Yet today they announce the licence fee is going up! furious

I did on Sunday, I still don't really get the need for this show.

Except maybe for kids in city schools to learn about.

Agreed - whichever TV exec thought that this was primetime TV material should be immediately transferred to some obscure cable-only channel

If they went on to show an abbatoir, the grisly deed, the hanging and maturation process, the butchering and finally the mint sauce it would, at least, be educational.

Cods.

Caught 5 minutes of it on Sunday night IIRC.
It was before 'Wonders of the solar system'.

I tuned in just in time to be reassured that the presenters would be there all night and the next day recording the action.

By this point I was visibly angry that such a program existed.

Watched it the other night when Kate Humble was feeling the rams testicles. I must admit, I was envious of the sheep!

Kate Humble is a marmite woman IMO. She's not my type.
