Does an extension need an "architectural design practice" rather than just someone who draws plans etc?
OK, ours wasn't 2000 sq ft but a local guy drew the plans, submitted the planning application and recommended and liased (to a very minor extent) with the builder. It was single story but involved going through an outside wall and a proper pitched roof. I honestly can't remember how much his bill was but it was no more than a few hundred pounds, in the mid 1990's, and that included the planning fees and building control fees.

5% of registered Architects are on job seekers not Sunseekers at the moment so you would think there would be some interest.Maybe they just don't have the resource to respond to random enquiries?
