Evening all

We are off to the lakes for a couple of days from tomorrow.Struggling to find anywhere to get breakfast on the way.The Little thief has one place near us in Middlewich (cheshire} then pretty much nothing else just off the M6 North. Can anybody recommend anywhere just off the motorway rather than the motorway services.

Thanks all

The BP filling station just off junction 27 at Standish have one of those "Wild Bean" Cafe's inside, it's very popular and not a bad choice of breakfast sandwiches, toasties etc, etc. Just turn left off the sliproad and it's there on the right.

It's also very popular with Plod, so it must be good.
