Just in case anyone is interested in experimenting with slow cooking - and doesn't want to pay a fortune for a slow cooker - Sainsburys have one on offer for twenty quid.

Good spot!

We got one from Lakeland recently and I was disgusted to find out I'd paid too much! winkbiggrin

This is clearly an outrage - everything from Poundland should cost a pound.

Was the item really bought from Poundland? or Pound Stretcher?

The item is merely a figment of my slightly inebriated mind. I have a week off you see, which means I've been at the Benedictine.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused my fellow FD&R posters.

About £9 from Asda is the smallest of ours. We bought a bigger one from Debs and it just didnt work.
So took it back and stuck with the cheap one.
