There seems to be a lot of people playing on the PS3 but not so much talk of the PC version.

Are there many playing on the PC. If so then add me as a friend 'PatioBlast'. It would be good to setup as a squad and dominate wink

Am loving the multiplayer, when EA servers are up...

For a UK server, see www.clanraa.com - I'll be on there most of the weekend (actually, 4 of us will be; having a gaming weekend caning bc2!)

Don't do multiplayer FPS but I've been playing it on the single player campaign. I think it's pretty ropey to be honest. The WWII bit was silly, turning the engines off on the boat when you are practically next to the Japanese soldiers on the bridge. "Take the guy on the left" says one of the team so I do with my knife but he doesn't take the Jap on the right, who just stands there oblivious to me knifing the man he was just talking to, so I knife him as well. I think on the 4 stabs and he's still oblivious to what's going on, but on the 5th stab he goes down. The tank that moves without the tracks going around or wheels turning, the endless animated cut scenes, the E key not working in the village to use the heavy machine gun or get in the Jeep. (Even re-set the E key to enter in the menu) resumes game and it still wouldn't work.

Graphics don't seem as good as MW2 (which I found short and too linear) either.

If they stopped with the cut scenes every time you did anything it would be better, but I don't think it is as good as it was expected to be.

Still waiting for Play.com to deliver then I'll be up for this smile

Is the Beta still available so I can download and get some practice in?

I think the beta has been pulled now. Servers are all for the full game now. I had a couple of games last night with mattyb in the same squad for a while. I had a couple of system crashes while playing but all went well other than that

Do you know if a) the game can be played on 2 PCs (eg sneak some time in at work and then sneak some time in away from Mrs Fubes in the evening) and b) do you 'have' to play with headset/microphone etc (this relates to the point about sneaking some gameplay in at work wink)

I play at work and home with no problems. You have two options when installing it, authenticate with the DVD or online. I chose online for both my installations.

I don't currently play with a headset, but I will be doing at some point as it's very tactical. I'd say it's 'beneficial' to play with a headset.

I noticed when you authenticate online it says you can install it on up to 10 PCs.

For me to call BC2 a heap of umitigating st would be doing st an injustice.

Ok, after the E key not responding in game at the mountain village (had been fine up until then) preventing me to enter a jeep and continue the game I quit out, hoping to resume tonight. On starting the game it downloads an update. I restart the game, login and click resume. Only it crashes to desktop everytime it tries to load.

I've barely played the single player game but I'm completely hooked on multiplayer.

I thought the single player campaign got better as it progressed. The multiplayer is the whole reason for me buying bfbc2 though its brilliant the single player campaign was just a bonus
