I am not quite sure what you wrote... "cw adobe"? I've messed about with Windows Movie Maker and if you're looking at a basic package then it does stuff quite well (I say well, it's obvious that it's been done by an amateur).

There is a 30 day free trial on the adobe website for Premiere Elements, I'm trying it out at the moment.

I would expect the Adobe products would have a larger number of export options.
there is a reason they cost hundreds of pounds as opposed to being free.

My version only exports as wmv. Youtube accepts that file type if you were wondering.

I did this last week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxZIfzIeDMEbiggrin

I use Sony vegas 8 for all my stuff - mind you I am not a video editing professional! I use it to convert my captured gameplay which is in .m2ts format, Which is a bh to work with. But then edit it and convert it to .mp4 to upload to youtube.

All my stuff is here - http://www.youtube.com/user/PistonGaming
