Sony DAV - DZ260 5.1 Home Theatre

Looking for some advice.

The DVD player has stopped relaying speech, but all the other sound is fine ie you can hear all the music/explosions etc but not the speech from the actors.

Anyone have any ideas what this is and how much this is likely to cost? I assume that the amp has lost one of the lines but that's a guess really.

Pretty pissed off as this is just over a year old and I buy Sony because I thought you got a decent product!

Sounds like you've lost your centre channel.

Check the physical connections at both ends, if they're fine test the speaker on another output, if thats fine, the amplifier is fked.
