I'm a relatively low usage person but quite fancy the idea of a Blackberry, especially with GPS.
The only downside seems to be the mid range and lower models still aren't 3G.
Are there any plans to introduce 3G to the other models yet?

I think the 8200? (pearl) onwards are either 2 or 3G. You just have to set the phone up to let it know which sigal it is looking for. To be honest I've had a bold 9000 mk1 for a few years now, originally it was on 2G sim card. Recently upgraded it to a 3G simcard and I haven't noticed any major improvement.

The new Bold is indeed a cracking bit of kit, battery lasts a long time too.

The big limiting factor on 3G performance is undoubtedly geographic location rather than the hardware.
