As you will have seen, I'm looking after a speedo-less Tamora this weekend.

Can any of you regular Tamora owners with working speedo's tell me what speed corresponds with what revs in 5th gear?

Specifically (to keep me legal) what revs equate to 30, 50 and 70mph.

And purely hypothetically, if one was to be doing 5,000 revs in 5th, which one most certainly would NOT do on the Queen's Highway, what speed would one be doing? And also 5,500 revs? Just purely out of interest - no real reason for asking.....

And the English translation is, I was hammering along the Motorway, listening to the exhaust when I noticed that I was unable to read the signs as they went by, I looked at the dash and I was doing 5,500 in 5th!

No, no, not at all.

I ask purely from an academic perspective. One must always seek to educate oneself
