Just collected my Honda and was talking to the Glasgow garage proprietor (motor-racing geometry specialist) who tells me some of his clients send cards to their car, eg. "Missing You Lots..." if it's in the garage for a while!weeping

Would anyone care to add their preferred method of dedicated appreciation for their P&J for us to applaud/TTP? laugh

I made a point to check when my cars birthdays were. It was the Hensens 25th this year so was going to have a few mates over and some beers to celebrate (any excuse really) but totally forgot about it. Felt kina bad.

Dont think id go as far as sending it a card though!

A wee kid ran over to it at a car show last year and kissed it. That was pretty funny/weird.

Me and the Fabia almost have the same birthday: mine's the 17th March, hers is the 19th. I've always made sure my car is clean for its birthday. I've certainly never sent a card to one before!

W....T....F....

Who the hell does that?

I'm not the type to name a car either, I think that's weird. I love my cars (even the gay one!) and motorbike but in a normal petrol head way.

That's not condensation in its headlamps - it's the car welling up when it sees you.

Talking of the Hensen, I saw in Edinburgh a few months back but forget to put it into the spotted thread. Awesome looking machine!

I give mine a little pat on the dash every time it clocks over another 1000 miles and I say thanks, I also had a small cake in its honour when it recently crossed the 100,000 mile barrier boxedin

Tell me I'm not alone wink
