We've got a couple of misted units and the professional in me says to get them replaced with new but I've come across these guys http://www.fogx.co.uk/ but I've never heard of them before, has anyone got any experience with them?

Personally it looks like bull to me.

Never heard of the firm myself but have seen others that do this.

The unit is likely to be stained inside and would always have water staining on the unit. It won't work on toughened units or on Low E units as they should be argon filled.

Personally I wouldn't waste the money and just geta a new unit fitted.

Replace the units far cheaper than the fogging idea and the fogging crap won't last.

The sealed unit need not be expensive. One for a window a little under 4x2 feet was £75. You do however have to get the trim out and refit it, which can be tricky.

don't touch them with a barge pole

i have it on authority from the Group MD of Europe's biggest facade engineering and testing company - a neighbour recently asked my advice about this very company and I had a chat with him as I was bemused by their absurd technical claims and product

walk away.....replacement d/g units are the proper solution
