My big fat Gypsy wedding

Repeated on channel 4 the other night. What a great programme. Can be watched online too.

Things I learn't from it:

Gypsy's (or travellers) really, really, really, really dont like being called 'pikeys'....

Their young girls dress like hookers but probably have a greater respect for themselves than most non Gypsy girls do....

They quite like to marry their cousins....

They believe marriage is for life...

They are clearly all rather a bit mad when it comes to spending money on weddings

Most of my other 'prejudices' were pretty accurate.
