Was looking for some advice to help out the parents who are currently in the process of selling their extensive home and business across the water in Northern Ireland. We're talking £700k+ here, restuarant, rooms, 4/5 bed residential home, acres of land, the lot.

At the moment they have advertised as both a commerical and residential property with a local agent in the area (NI) however personally I have little faith in them. The first brochure they did for the property mispelt 'might' and 'formally' for starters.

Given the fairly unique type of property it is (I can provide further information if needed), the value involved and the current state of the market, particularly in Northern Ireland, does anyone have any suggestions? Advertising it here in the UK with an agent, but who? In a papers property section like the Times? Auction house even? To be honest I don't think it's the kind of place I'd go looking for RightMove (not that they even cover NI anyway!)

Cheers

Davel

Can the agents not list it on Rightmove for you?

Maybe Strutt & Parker, or some other well recognised name could also act for you over here.

I would have thought that the important thing is to get it somewhere where it can be viewed on the web.
