Yes indeed.

Off to Croft on 28th Feb for the Rallycross BRTDA clubman championship round.

It's only my second race and my first at Croft.

I need some advice please (apart from don't get in the way of the experienced guys etc etc). Does anyone know the RallyX circuit or croft in general? Any help on lines etc much appreciated.

I've raced at croft twice and i've always gone up a few weeks before on one of those experience things, in a ginetta. if you phone up and explain your racing there they let uou play a little more... although rallycross lines will be a bit different to race lines ( or should be)

if i were you though i'd avoid the tree on the exit from tower, it hurts...

Hi
I can't offer you any advice on lines but if they use the same track as the rallycross championship you will not have to worry about the trees at Tower. I have marked the rallycross track in red (not very well ) It leaves the tarmac just after the chicane and rejoins on the start finish straight. Most of the photos on the following 2 links www.ianhardy.net/gallery/croft002 and
www.ianhardy.net/gallery/croft005 were taken where I have marked the red cross.

Cheers

Ian

Thanks for this - (I thought we went all the way down to Tower before turning off road so this has been a great help.

Did it look like a good circuit when you were there?

The track layout is quite short and appears to be quite flat, the only real bump being where you leave the tarmack and join the rough next to the chicane, the first bend is always good from a spectators point of view as you can't get 4 cars around there abreast
