Bit gutted only had the car for 3 weeks and its now out of Lambo warrenty.

Don't panic - I have been warned about lights on these.... If I were you I would give your local dealer a call about the light, find out what it is, and if its safe to drive the car to them.

While your out of warranty I would not panic as there is a good chance nothing is wrong and its just a false-positive that needs reseting or letting go back off again!

Washed ? Dont do washing ! No really this one will get washed even just had an outside tap fitted yesterday to do it.

It has been raining but nothing too much, It does seem to me as though the power is down, less responsive but that could just be me now I have got a worry on.

I do have 3 months warrenty from the garage I purchased from and havent spoken to them yet but will do in the morning, If they want ot back to them though thats a trip to Wales.

Even my nearest local Lamborghini garage is some 150 miles away but shouldnt complain I was well aware of that when buying just wasnt expecting I may be visiting so soon.

I have switched the engine on and off a few times and its still there straight away.

What are the good independants in the South East of the country ?

This was not uncommon on my car, caused by an out of range emissions reading. However, there are other possible reasons, so it is always best to get it checked out. Do ask the garage what the fault code was, and if it was an out of range emissions reading, it may be due to a faulty sensor. Eventually this was fixed on my car, and I didn't get the light again.

The light tends to stay on for a few starts / miles, but the fault will eventually clear itself (if it was just a one time out of range reading) although the fault memory will log the issue.

LHW always advised me when the light came on to judge whether the engine was still running well (eg, no misfire, no loss of power), in which case they told me not to worry until I had time to get the warning code checked out.

Cheers

LHW plugged the diagnostics into my 08 SuperLeggera 2 weeks ago to clear off the 5-10 and 6-10 yellow warning lights I was getting. Nothing to worry about at all I'm sure. My 05 Gallardo used to do the same. Sometimes caused by pressure build up in the petrol tank when left around for too long I'm told.

Worry about red warning lights, not yellow ones smile

Get it checked out by a Dealer though, dont just drive on through the faults
