110XS in white v stornaway opinions please

Hi Chaps,
Were are returning to live in the UK next week, after living in NZ for the past 4 years. I am looking at 07 / 08 110XS There are a couple around, one at a non franchised dealer.The Thatched Garage has the 110XS in white. Has anyone dealt with these guys? I like 90's in white but am not sure about 110 ? This 110 was on ebay for a matter of days as a private sale before it went here. The Stornaway 110 is for sale at Lindacre in Ipswich which is listed as an LR approved service agent. I like the 110 in stornaway but the white one seems better value. Anyone dealt with Lindacre ? I would appreciate some feedback as we have been downunder for a while ! Is a white 110XS a no no in terms of appeal and resale ? I appreciate it is a matter of personal taste . Were there improvements from 07 to 08 cars . I see from looking at Defender2.net there are some gearbox issues with some cars?

Lindacre were for many years a large dealership in Ipswich with plate glass showroom, 3 acre off-road site behind and salesmen in shiny suits.
A couple of years ago they went bust.
Some ex-Lindacre staff then set up a service centre on a nearby industrial estate. I believe they have official LR service-centre status. Not sure about the sales side (I didn't know they had a sales side!) If it's the same place then don't expect a glossy showroom.
No experience of the new Lindacre, although I used the old Lindacre when I bought my TD5 90.
