Brake Fluid - Dot 4 or Dot 5.1

Always used Dot 4 in mine. 5.1 is also suitable, performs better on track.

same as wyn DOT 4, I also use it for clutch fluid

it's silicone based. 5.1 isn't however.

I thought the spec was for Dot 4 but I put in 5.1...

5.1 is the best stuff you can buy.

No bad points.

Price is now reasonable .. so no reason to use dot 4 unless you are really tight for cash.

Dot 5.1 is now getting on a bit and and has been superceded by a lot of Dot 4 super fluids,or have a look at Castrol SRF.
