Desktop for £200-300

Can anyone recommend me a desktop pc for no more than £300, and ideally nearer 200...? Uses are mainly internet, storage for photos and music and no gaming so spec doesn't have to be too great.

Existing pc seems to have given up after about 6 years, but monitor and all that stuff is fine, so really just need the base without all the extras.

Sure I remember seeing something on the Gadget Show a few months ago where they did a test of some pc base things - something small, white and square won, but I can't remember any other details! Wasn't anything Apple-based, but really don't remember what it was! Any ideas, or anything else that can be recommended or dismissed?

My uncle has a PC for sale. Decent spec, especially for what you need. I built it, didn't use it. Sold it to him, he didn't use it.

Thanks for the offer, but mine just seems to have died of old age after moderate use - would rather have the peace of mind of spending an extra few quid on something brand new. Thanks again for suggestion though!

You are awesome, despite my vague description and *ahem* wrong colour! Anyone got any experience of the Aspire Revo. Looking at the model with 2Gb RAM and Windows 7 - is that adequate for the OS, or should I be looking at more memory to run Windows 7 well?

Cheers for your help, guys and gals. Ended up going for this Dell model:

An IT-competent mate recommended not going for the Aspire Revo because the processor is only single core, HDD is pretty small and the graphics performance is supposedly not too good. Don't really understand most of that, but have ended up spending more or less the same (once I'd bought an external DVD-RW for the Revo) on something with bigger HDD and faster processor. It's just going in the study too, so not worried about getting something compact and pretty.

Only issues with the Dell are longer delivery times and that I don't think it comes with a WLAN card, but I can cope with the first and even with my lack of technical know-how can sort the second.
