Ahhhhhh Interwebs Rage

Hi guys

Just changed ISP in order to save some cash. However our internet connection keeps dropping every now and then. It may only be for a few seconds but it's enough to either kick me from Xbox Live or any online PC games that myself and my fiencee play.

Any ideas on how to make it more stable or is it a case of phoning the ISB and asking whats up?

Probably not a lot of help but I thought new internet connections could take a couple of weeks to settle in, in which time the speed is known to go up & down a bit.
