Europa SE undertray / diffuser
Discussion
Having been an Elise owner since 2001, I have just recently acquired a near new Europa SE which I am enjoying very much. I did not notice or think to look at the time I bought it, but have since discovered that it does not have an undertray or diffuser from in front of the engine back. I assume this is as it came from the factory, but am interested to confirm that this is the case and why, if anyone knows? Perhaps cooling? I know that the Europa is based on the VX220, and assume that it had an undertray and diffuser.
Also, does anyone know whether an undertray / diffuser is available?
Thanks,
Allan

This is how they come, my Europa S is the same. I am told it is because the cooling for the engine is critical and the limiting factor for power increases. I must admit I thought the same as you when I first looked at a Europa, it does look like it should have a panel there. Also enjoying my Europa, an excellent buy and very civilised after my S1 111S (it went to France as a lot seem to be now). Does anyone know if a workshop manual is available for the Europa S/SE, on a disc maybe?
