The gypsies that have been setting up camp all around the area of Aberdeen have set up in Bridge of Don.
They leave a mess everywhere and they've set up in a place where learner drivers and bikers take tests and lessons.

That's not so good. It can't be much fun when you get the gypsies on your door step. I'm talking about the ones who leave a mess, nick everything in sight and then move on. I do have some travelling type people who stay next to my gym in a flat. They spend 6 months travelling and 6 months in the flat. I've had a few dealing with them and they have always been really nice folk.
They should supply a few legal camps around the country for them to use. If they make a mess or cause havoc, then the camp gets closed down. Any illegal setting up of camps and the council should flatten their caravan with a jcb.
I'm sure not all travellers and gypsies are dodgy, but you do tend to worry when they move in to an area.

Dont get me started!
I have nothing against folk who choose to travel and be mobile who do so legally and dont camp up on peoples private property, but it would seem most dont care who's land it is and leave loads of rubbish behind.
Just last week i return to a job im working on in a nice street (im installing a 60m2 driveway and some walling and paving in the back) and there is a transit tipper parked opposit the house and 3 guys in high visibility jackets (i think they are under the impression this makes them look professional!?) going door to door trying to get work. I pull up behind my skip and wind down my window to get a listen to their speil as the neighbour answers his door - ' Hi there, sorry to bother you but you might have noticed were just doing some work accross the road there and were just wondering if you may be interested in getting some work done too' f
king gypsies are trying to pass my job of as theirs to get work in the street. I can almost guarantee they have been back since to take a picture of the finished drive to add to 'their portfolio'.

We've had a set of em camping right outside our work the last week or two, got moved along on friday so presumably the same folk. Now they're gone obviously there's now plenty of rubbish kicking about. Caravans were set up pretty much directly outside our car park making it a pain in the arse going in and out as well.
The grown up thing to do is to make sure the car makes plenty of noise arriving at work early in the morning.
You can't really complian about noise waking you up if you choose to illegally set up camp in an industrial estate...

The same place that they were before? I remember you and Hannah telling us about them when you were round. Then Dad and I go out for a drive, forgetting they are there. = sudden stop and the best 3 point turn i've done to date The grown up thing to do is to make sure the car makes plenty of noise arriving at work early in the morning.

The term "thieving Gypsies" is part of our language for a reason - a lot of them are thiefs. I've had them in our yard many times stealing the scrap metal.
Can anyone enlighten me with an answer to the following question :-
Just what do Gypsies contribute to the country and society ?
I can't think of anything that is positive......

Human rights...innit.
what a load of B
KS. Soo it within their human rights to set up an illegal camp on someone elses private ground, then not be able to be moved off that grounds?
Then within their right to stay there?

Sorry for the editting, I'm on my iPhone and mistakes are made commonly

At least they don't raid your skip in broad daylight.
They can help themselves to stuff i throw in my skips for all i care! Its when they fill my almost empty skip up with old rolls of turf at night when im away that makes me mad!
they could have at least fly tipped it somewhere like they normally do and saved me £160!We all hate them, find me someone (aport from a gypo themselve) that actually likes them. I remember last year after the SS7 building in dyce closed down they moved in there. They got evicted however many days later and about a month later the council (or whoever owns the land) put up some massive boulders in front of the entrance. About another month later the gypsies were back, hooked some rope around the boulders, rope onto the towbar and pulled them out of the way and all piled back in! Now i dont know how thats not trespassing at least. Fusnniest thing was though, i drove past a couple of hours later and there was a guy out i na deckchair 'sunbathing' with a hanky covering his head!
