Already in my diary. I love this series and have just been watching 2009 series highlights on Motors tv. Love Hindy's commentary.

What about a PH meet at the LMS race at Silverstone in September?

Great that there are so many Brits over there for Sebring. Why don't we have a 12 hour protype race in Europe then?

we have the Britcar 24 hours? Or the Nurby 24hr, or plenty of LMS races (but way shorter) and Le Mans (France?)

Touche. I was thinking of prototypes though, not Britcar/Spa/Nurburg etc 24hr races.

We have the 8 hours at Paul Ricard this year followed by a number of 1000km races which are usually 4-5 hours in length.

Britcar and Nurb aren't prototype races. wink

Le Mans is the creme de la creme though. smile

Got my Saturday and Sunday booked out.

Its tradition - sunday roast comes out of the oven at 12 midnight.

Hoping for a good showing from Drason as well as the lola aston, will be cheering for Priaulx in the beemer too.

Gonna be interesting watching the GTC and LMPC cars mixing it up - sad not to have a GT1 race though.

With regards to prototype racing in Europe - I would say we have it better - even if you disregard le mans. Petit and Sebring were the only two ALMS events where there was anything resembeling a prototype field last year - the other LMS races had a few Acuras (no longer in P1) the Fields in their rocket that doesn't corner and the lola Mazdas - compare this to LMS races where the prototype field is massive and I know which I would prefer.

There's going to be quite a lot for us Brits to cheer in the ALMS this year, really hope the Lola Astons can go even better at LeMans this year as well.
