Yeah I love it.

Nice to see something different for a change, all the German marques are getting so boring design wise.

The new 5 series just looks so dull in the flesh, I am gutted. I hope the sport touring looks better. It looks like it should be a model between the E39 (which I do love and is a classic, but is 15 years old now) and the E60, certainly not the latest design, so I am glad they did something different with the GT.

Yep, seen a couple and fully agree - it is spectacularly ugly. Plain nasty.

Had a look around one in a showroom and by God they are 'orrible. I'm all in favour of BMW trying something new on the design front but not this!! The back end is a ghastly bloated freakish mess - bleurgh :

Totally agree. New 5 series is dull, dull, dull. Much prefer GT and E60.

Seems like it has really polarised opinions !

I think the new 5 saloon looks ok actually - understated and elegant... (clearly I am a bore frown )

It does remind me somewhat of a late 80's or early 1990's Ford Granada / Scorpio with the five door rear tailgate.

This car I am sure will find buyers but to look attractive will need to be specced well along with a decent colour. Not for me, unless Alpina breathe upon it!

I'm with Dibbly. Leave off the F10! The GT, on the other hand, looks like the illegitimate offspring of a Lexus/BMW fling

I'm not a fan of the 5GT as the rear end looks very awkward and the thing is just soooo big...

Also I really dislike the huuuuuuge red lights that feature on the back of all the more recent BMWs - they just look very clumsy to me.
