Hi

Have now thought long and hard and decided to go for an ultima. I have the chance of a very very nice spec/built GTR (dont want to say who's) has around 4k miles and 500 plus bhp with a 60k build cost. Before I finally plunge do you think spending the best part of 40k on a 2005 car will see me with a big loss should I need to recover my dosh (you never know how things pan out).

And lastly, I assume the safe resale colours for these are yellow/Red?

I doubt you'll see much loss from your purchase price, only real loss is when you start sinking cash into it for 'upgrades'.

Speak to Kyle (GulfLS7) about his inspection service, it would be worth it (if you're not buying the car that Kyle may know of anyhow that is).

Colour doesn't seem to be such a big impact as you may think. Most people look at the specs e.g. A/C, Full AP's, Factory Standard or modded, wing or no wing, SBC or LS etc...

Yes sadly fall protection is one of my courses but thats people and materials not car prices!!!!

Ah, I work for Capital Safety you see...

Ultima is probably one of the few cars you'll buy (this side of bonafide classics) that won't need any Fall Protection on value...

age really is not an issue with and Ultima price, as Rob says its specs specs specs..

Mines a 2001 car and Ive seen them nearing the 40k mark from time to time..

take the plunge and never look back!!!! the grin factor is worth 40k all day long!!!!
