Hi
Recently bought this Tuscan 2 Convertible with Reflex Charcoal paintwork and at £650 a litre of the stuff I decided to hand it over to Jay at Gleaming Kleen for a full detail before sending it on to paintshield for 'wrapping'. The photos speak for themselves, it really is an amazing turn round, definetly worth doing. Jay himself genuinely likes TVR's and the quality of his attention to detail is a credit to him.
Here's the write up from 'Detailing World' -- the car is stunning!! Cheers Jay Many Thanks:-

Upon inspection it was clear that is had been machined polished poorly in the past and owner went on to explain that the dealership had actually done this for him to try and rectify the poor paintwork. As you can see in the photo's they did not do a very good job

Correction was carried out using Menz 3.02 on a 3m polishing pad and then this was refined with Megs 205

Swissvax Cleaner Fluid applied and then paintwork was sealed with Swissvax Best of Show, wheels sealed with Swissvax Autobahn and tyres dressed with Swissvax Pneu. Carbon fiber exhaust barrels were polished with Menz 203S. Fabric roof sealed with Renovo

Few afters

Thanks for looking

Hi There
TVR's attract stone chips like black cars attract seagulls!! If you know what I mean.
The paint is £ 650 a litre , 6-7 ltrs for a full respray, so wrapping it with paintshield is the only option especially as Jay has done such a superb job bringing the colour back to life. The Paint Sheild is just like adding another covering of clear coat, so won't spoil the look !!

Cheers

I see, you mean paint protection as opposed to a different coloured "wrap", the new fangled change your car colour stuff. Got to say your car looks amazing.
