Good he will look a fool. It is going to take a sniper rifle to sort this psychopath out. I do actually believe the man is terminally mentally ill.

It's an odd one. Bottler Brown has historically never fought an election which he wasn't pretty confident he would win. I was (and indeed still am) expecting him to stand down before the GE as Labour are likely to do badly (how badly being a matter for great debate.)

Stay on as leader of a semi- (or fully-) defeated party? I don't see it, myself.

Good

He will serve as a constant reminder to the nation of the dangers of a Labour Gov't.

Though they have been far too spineless to remove him before he screwed the economy, I'd imagine that they will just about be vindictive enough to stab him in the back if they lose the election.

I'm looking forward to the look on his face, frankly.

When did he last fight for an election, at least for the PM role? Surely he's only ever "fought" for his local seat?

I agree though - I don't see how he could stay on as a "failed" leader. Maybe for a few months while they try to decide which idiot to pull out from the benches to fill the post for a few years. Who knows, they may even find someone who's actually capable?

I listened to his opening on the BA strike. Archetypal gov't mouthpiece, geting all the important words in.

When they loose, I reckon he'll sink faster that the ginger whinger, & his 'loyal' arse-wipers will punt him into the weeds.

That'll open the door for monkey boy & the troop of harpies who have no aspirations for leadership.

OT but I also caught an programme on R4 about Baroness Ashton. This really is a case of pigs in the trough.

Indeed. And he has only ever 'fought' for seats which were 'safe'. His bottling out of calling a GE shortly after he became leader was more evidence of this.

The history of interal Labour party appointments are (I am told) such that he only stands for posts he is pretty sure of getting too.
