VOIP Handset Recommendations?
Discussion
As the OH is starting a business, and as it will probably alternate between home/parents/other, the most sensible non-mobile option was a voip number (far cheaper then a 2nd phone line!). Given router locations, the phone will need to be wireless, but I can only find about 2 or 3 models available. Has anyone got a wireless voip handset and if so, what have you got and is it anygood?
Thanks.
Thanks.
What is your budget?
My N900 has Skype integrated and apparently you cannot tell if the call is Skype or regular GSM/3G. You could get a data only sim and use it on the move or via wifi at the office. It will also get emails and instant messages. It is about £500 sim free but you can get deals on it.

Well I was hoping as little as possible, although I will make allowances for quality. The mobile is due up for renewal so that may be one option, but reception is limited in the sticks so I don't know how it'll fare. How is the call quality on GSM?
GSM qualty is great, better than any other phone I have had.I got it free with a £40 18 month tariff on Vodafone.
