Pretend stone (concrete) lintels looking tired

Our 9 year old house has neo-georgian style windows with conrete lintels top and bottom. The lower lintels are looking tired and the surface finish is peeling off in places - even on the South facing window pictured below. What can I do about them? Do they need resurfacing by a professional?

Not sure how they could be re-surfaced.

I'd suggest you try cleaning them with some brick acid or a pressure washer.
