I'd rather employ a paedophile than a hero
Discussion
I know its another Daily Mail and Sun article but this guy has certainly pissed off a lot of people mainly ARRSE

They have got a list of all his clients to vent their anger that they are using his company.

Extract of what he allegedly said
A company boss has compared British soldiers to paedophiles and drug dealers after refusing a request by a recruitment service to provide jobs for former troops.
Karl Winn, 60, said he would rather 'recruit ex-drug dealers, convicts and child molesters' than employ former servicemen or women.
His comments came after he was contacted by Forces Recruitment Services and asked if he would consider taking on ex-soldiers at his net design company Webeurope.
Mr Winn, of Taunton, Somerset, wrote back: 'Personally, I'd rather recruit ex-drug dealers, convicts and even child molesters rather than consider anybody who has been in the pay of the British Government.'

No, he's a political scumbag who accuses all our servicemen and women of murder. According to his website, there were no terrorists in Northern Ireland, they were all entirely innocent. Mclovin said:

With all the bodies coming back to the UK from Afghanistan any criticism of our forces will create anger with the masses. Fair enough disliking wars etc but its the politicians who their anger should be vented at not the troops. His facebook profile has decreased in friends after this article.

He has a right to his opinion and who he employs.
He is also an asshole.
No story here, just a quiet day.

Our troops are fighting so that your average Afghani and Iraqi can have some of the freedoms we enjoy, one of them being freedom of speech. So it's rather ironic the Daily Wail and co are chastising him for excercising his right to freedom of opinion.

Hate to tell all you anti-DM people but the source of this story was one of the news agencies. Was looking at the times of the articles for this late last night. DM just happened to be the first main stream news company to print it up.
And yes, the guy is allowed an opinion, but equally, people are also allowed to vote with their feet.
Considering the staff were apparently taking down the signs on the front of the building yesterday as this story broke doesn't say much for what the staff think of their future job prospects either. Have to admit though, that office will be having a pretty interesting day! Ah, to be a fly on the wall haha.

k over, then we will see how valid his point is? The guy is a tool and surely in breach of some employment laws through his discrimination?

And your point is?I'd be tempted to call you an idiot, but perhaps this post is just a one-off brain failure and really you're a decent and intelligent chap.

It doesn't stop him from being a complete tool, but he's entitled to what he thinks. Even if it is mind-bogglingly wrong in my opinion
In some ways I'm more annoyed at the press for giving such a loud voice to such a person. Now this imbecile's minority view is spoken out to the world, but then they do like stirring up controversy to sell papers.
I'm also genuinely baffled as to why this bloke would associate his company with such views. Surely he realises that he'll lose a whole load of business through this? Perhaps he met Gerald Ratner and got some ideas....
He's a tool to say what he said but i have no huge issue with his opinion, he's allowed to think what he likes and while i disagree...i also disagree with the "soilders dont have a say" attitude - most of them in the desert joined knowing thats where they'd be heading. I think the "war" is a ridiculus waste of money/life and if any of my kids suggested joing up i'd tell them not to be so stupid.
